Accessibility statement.

Halftime Cuts wants everyone to be able to find us, check our hours and book a cut, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, captions or other assistive technology.

Our goal

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These are the standards most commonly used to measure website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we’ve done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a “Skip to content” link.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG AA color contrast requirements.
  • Headings, landmarks, labels and image descriptions are in place for screen readers.
  • The layout adapts to phones and to browser zoom up to 400% without losing content.
  • Animation respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting, and a Pause animations button (in the header, menu and footer) stops all looping motion.
  • Links that open a new tab say so.
  • Opening hours, prices and contact details are written out as text, not images.

Outside services

Online booking is handled by Square, and our map is provided by Google Maps. We link to Instagram, Facebook, Yelp and Google reviews. These services are outside our direct control. If any of them gives you trouble, call us and we’ll book your appointment over the phone.
